Three different rootstocks viz. rough lemon, Troyer citrange and Carrizo citrange of different ages were grafted with shoot tip scion of Nagpur mandarin. The success of in vitro micrografting was dependent on type of rootstock used. Overall success of in vitro STG was more in Troyer citrange followed by Carrizo and rough lemon. Age of rootstock did not show any definite trend on success. In rough lemon, success was more at the age of 10–12 days, in Troyer at the age of 8–13 days and in Carrizo between 10–12 days. Maximum success for all the three rootstocks were obtained at the age ranging from 8–13 days. In double grafting, rough lemon gave more success than in Rangpur lime.
