Studies on the effect of irrigation frequencies on the yield and quality of litchi (Litchi chinensis Sonn.) fruits showed that applying 8 irrigations at 14 days interval from February to May increased 35 per cent yield of better quality fruits and reduced fruit cracking by almost 11.5 per cent than control.
