Abstract

The highest growth, yield and quality were recorded at 25×60×90 cm spacing. The maximum yield was received with small sucker followed by big sucker. The minimum yield was observed with small slip. The best quality of fruits were obtained with crown followed by suckers. Thus, the spacing of 25×60×90 cm and planting mateial of small sucker followed by big sucker was found to be the best for pineapple cultivation under rainfed conditions of Bihar plateau.
