The survey of acid lime orchards in the three southern status of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu for the micronutrient status of these orchards by leaf and soil analysis has indicated the incidence of manganese deficiency in Andhra Pradesh, zinc and manganese deficiency in orchards of Tamil Nadu and absence of any micro-nutrient disorders in Karnataka. The studies have also indicated inherent inefficiency of acid lime in manganese uptake.
