Intensity and extent of fruit drop was studied in kinnow mandarin at two locations (Abohar and Hoshiarpur) in Punjab. The extent of fruit drop varied from 69.10 to 82.27 per cent at Abohar and 72.52 to 88.34 per cent at Hoshiarpur. Significantly higher fruit drop was recorded in declining trees as compared to healthy ones. Two waves of fruit drop were noticed first during April-May and second from September to November.
