Abstract

Five bioregulators namely Biozyme, Protozyme, Miraculan, Paras photosynth and Vipul were sprayed twice, first three weeks before fruit set and second at petal fall stage. All the bioregulators improved chlorophyll, total sugars, starch, carbohydrates and photosynthetic efficiency as compared to control. Miraculan was the most effective in improving the total sugars, starch and carbohydrates. Paras photosynth was the next in effectiveness. However, Paras photosynth, particularly its 0.6 ml/l treatment was the most effective in improving the leaf chlorophyll content and photosynthetic efficiency. Among bioregulators, Vipul was the least effective.
