Methods for estimation of utilization of CO2 in guava

Abstract

Method (2) proved to be very useful for accurate estimation of mass of CO2 absorbed/hr while method (3) for estimation of reduction of mass of CO2/hr by a guava tree from the atmosphere. The average absorption was found 175.511 g CO2/tree/hr, while reduction 48.65 g CO2/tree/hr for the guava tree. Method (4) gave that guava tree yield 0.694 - 0.864 kg fruits corresonding to 1 kg absorption of CO2 in the fruiting season.
