A field experiment was conducted during 1986–87 and 1987–88 to find out the response of garden pea (Pisum sativum L. subsp. hortense) Arkel to different levels of P (30, 60 and 90 kg P0O5/ha) and GA3 (0, 25 and 50 ppm) with and without Rhizobium inoculation for protein, carbohydrate and P content. The parameters responded significantly to increased levels of P and GA3 with inoculation during both the years. Interactions between Rh × P and P×G also gave significant response for protein and P content.
