The effect of days to lifting of corms after flowering on the performance of forthcoming crop in gladiolus during winter crop liftings showed that number of days requried for spike emergence and later on its flowering were significantly reduced as days to lifting of corms were advanced from first lifting to last lifting. Significantly higher plant height, leaf breadth, duration of flowering, spike and rachis length, number of florets/spike and corm and cormel yield/plant were obtained when corms were lifted 75 days after flowering. However, lifting of corms 60, 75, 90 and 105 days after flowering were on par with each other with respect to these parameters.
