Investigations were carried out to study the flowering behaviour of rose plants as affected by various levels of N and P. The most beneficial results were obtained by the application of 60 g N/ plant/year and 60 g P/plant/year on sodic soils. Almost all the flowering characters were found to be enhanced by these levels of nutrients.
