Abstract

The test cultivars Jahaji, Malbhog and Ney Poovan were assessed for their yield and quality parameters when flowered and matured under different weather conditions. Bunches of cv. Jahaji showed the highest yield and good-quality fruits when matured over the temperature range of 18–22°C (minimum), 28–36°C (maximum), relative humidity (RH) 68–83% and without rains. Malbhog and Ney Poovan recorded maximum yield and fruit quality during January-April with a weather package of 18–26°C minimum temperature, 28–34°C maximum temperature, 71–76% RH and without rains.
