Annular budding gave highest success compared to forkert and chip budding. Highest bud sprouting was recorded in annular budding performed on 30 June, followed by the same method performed on 20 July. Annular buding on 30 June was the earliest to sprout. It had highest survival percentage followed by forkert budding performed on the same date. The proportion of saleable plants was highest (98.56%) in chip budding, followed by forkert budding (98.32%). All the plants budded up to 20 July were fit for sale.
