Abstract

The height, trunk diameter, canopy volume, root growth and biomass production, yield and quality were influenced by differnt treatments. The treatment combination of 3/4 P+ VAM +N (T10) was the best treatment for producing better growth and yield of high quality fruits in Mosanbi. It indicated the suitability of biofertilizers (AZO and VAM) inoculation in combination with chemical fertilizers for better growth, yield and fruit quality. It will help bring down the cost of chemical fertilizers particulary nitrogen and phosphorus and better building of fertility by maintaining physical conditions of the soil.
