The distribution of primary nutrients in different parts of banana plant as influenced by application of N and K @ 50, 100, 150 or 200 g/plant/crop given either in full drip or 50% drip or full soil was studied. The N and P concentration was highest in root and was least affected by fertigation. A steady decrease in N concentration in fruit was noticed as fruit matured. The P levels in fruit remained unaffected till maturity, The roots were the greatest repository for K followed by rhizome and stem. The K concentration was highest in fruit during early stages of development and varied widely as fruits matured.
