Effect of boron on fruit set, fruit retention and fruit quality of litchi cv. Bombai

Foliar application of B (328–656 mgAitre) as boric acid improved fruit set, its retention at maturity, fruit weight and fruit quality in litchi. Boric acid was more effective source of B than borax in improving fruit quality of Bombai litchi.
