Inter- and intraspecific cross combinations among 6 species of Annona revealed the effectiveness of A. squamosa as pollen parent on A. atemoya and A., cherimola. The A. squamosa was not an effective female parent with A. atemoya but A. cherimola was compatible with both A. squamosa and A. cherimola. A. atemoya can be crossed freely with A. reticulata, A. glabra and A. cherimola.
