The studies were conducted to find out the effects of P on growth, yield and quality of pineapple cv. Gandul on peat soil. The application of P significantly influenced plant height, D-leaf area, P concentration in leaves, fruit diameter and fruit sugar content at site 1 and those for D-leaf area, fruit length and fruit diameter at site 2. Mean fruit weights were not affected by P application and they ranged from 1.73 to 1.82 kg and 0.96 to 1.01 kg at site 1 and 2 respectively.
