The studies were carried out to study flowering and fruiting behaviour of Pyrus spp. by using 4 scion cultivars, viz. Smith, Baggugosha, LeConte and Kieffer on 2 Pyrus rootstocks, namely Kainth and Patharnakh suckers. The parameter, i.e. spur number, flower number, fruit set, number of mature fruits, fruit weight and fruit quality differed but were non-significant.
