Abstract

The studies were carried out on the effect of girdling, brushing and GA3 on maturity and quality on grape cv. Perlette at Regional Fruit Research Station, Abohar. Trunk girdling along with brushing of bunches or in combination with GA3 resulted in improved quality of as these increased berry size, TSS, reducing sugars and reduced the percentage of shot berries and acid content. Girdling of main trunk along with brushing of bunches advanced the maturity period at least by a week. However, no additive effect was observed when these were combined with GA3 treatment.
