Four hybrids of cabbage (Bajrang, Green Challenger, Bharati and Varun) were tried under 4 dates of transplanting, i.e. 8, 18 and 28 October and 7 November during rabi season, and 7, 17 and 27April and 7 May in kharif season in 1998–99 and 1999–2000. Dates of transplanting were kept in split plots. The data revealed that all hybrids could be grown with equal success in either of the growing seasons. Green Challenger and Varun performed equally well during both the growing seasons. Bharati was the poor yielder in rabi than in kharif season.
