A study was conducted with 23 genotypes of tomato during summer - rainy season. There was considerable diversity among genotypes for morphological characters. Plant height, fruit number and fruit size contributed to the divergence. L. pimpinellifolium was most divergent among genotypes. Crosses involving IIHR 1827, Pant Bahar, L 964 and L 154 with Arka Alok, Arka Abha, Floradade and LE 79 were recommended for improved yield and better fruit size.
