Standardization and improvement of STG paved the way for cleaning the citrus exotic germplasm received from other countries. STG success of exotic cultivars on rough lemon rootstock ranged from 40.0–51.85%. Successful exotic micrografts were transferred to the screenhouse by double grafting on rough lemon rootstock and were being maintained under protected condition, in a quarantine greenhouse for indexing and further multiplication for release to the field trial.
