Abstract

The cardamom clone-37 (Malabar cv) was used to identify the ideal leaf for nutrient diagnosis. The results suggested that for analysis of N, P and K in cardamom plant, the 2nd and 3rd leaf positions from the top can be used as index tissue and so also for the calcium because the latter had a lowest CV of 5.6% for 2nd leaf position.
