The survey of 7 vineyards in Sangli and Miraj regions of Maharashtra indicated that nutrient contents in shoots bearing healthy bunches did not differ significantly from shoots bearing affected bunches. Significantly lower Ca and Mg and higher K contents were observed in the petioles opposite affected bunches. Affected bunches had significantly lower Ca and Mg contents both in upper and lower rachis portions than healthy bunches. Lower rachis portion the of affected bunches contained significantly lower Mg, Na and K contents than upper healthy portion.
