Abstract

Field trials with 6 french bean varieties under 5 phosphorus regimes were conducted at the mid hill situation of Meghalaya. The experiments were conducted for two years under at 3 dates of sowing, namely April, June and September. Plant height and yield showed significant genotype×environment interaction and hence subjected to stability analysis. The variety Canadian Wonder was stable under low phosphorus levels while Tender Crop (TCS) was good for high phosphorus conditions.
