Eleven genotypes of tomato were evaluated under eight environments to assess the stability of genotypes for growth and earliness by adopting Eberhart and Russell model. Significant G × E interaction was observed for days to 50 per cent flowering, plant height and number of primary branches.
According to stability parameters (mean performance, b1 and S2d2), genotype Arka Meghali was found promising with stable performance for plant height and number of primary branches while, variety Megha was early in flowering and found stable for days to 50 per cent flowering.
