Abstract

An investigation was conducted to study the effect of foliar application of micronutrients viz., boron, zinc, molybdenum, copper, iron, manganese, mixture of all and multiplex on the nutrient content of tomato shoot and fruits. Foliar spray of most of the micronutrients significantly increased the concentration of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulphur, zinc, iron, copper, manganese and boron in fruits. In shoot also except nitrogen and potassium, the accumulation of other minerals was influenced significantly by micronutrients treatment. The application of mixture of micronutrients was found to be most effective for improving the nutritional content.
