This article is the reflection of the issues and challenges with the under trial prisoners. However with UTPs emotional injury and other mental disorders are high in comparison to the general population. This injury leads to the worst forms of consequences such as suicide or causing harm to others. All human beings are bestowed with inalienable human rights irrespective of their caste, creed, race, sex or religion. Inside the prison also, a human exists known as prisoner. Before the finalization of the case, the said prisoner has to be retained in prison and sometimes such retention crosses the limit and patience due to unnecessary delay in trial. Hence, an ill soul takes birth inside the prison. So, the present research deals with various aspects of emotional injuries, mental disorder and the problems with the under trial prisoners.
