Abstract

Now a days in Indian society ageing is the most important topic for discussion. Ageing is a process rather than an event. Everyone of this society undergoes the process of ageing. Both men and women are facing ageing but women are facing it differently. In this study the author tried to find out the status of elderly women in India as compared to men. The main aim of this study is to highlight the low status of elderly women and to analyze the reason behind the low status of elderly women.
