Self-Concept, adjustment and attitude towards modernization among senior secondary girls of government and private schools

This study attempted to compare the senior secondary girls of government and private schools from the point of view of self-cosncept, adjustment and attitudes towards modernization. 150 student (75each group)s were administered the selected scales. Self-concept scale (Saraswat, 1981), adjustment inventory (Singh &Singh 2002) and modernization scale (Singh Tripathi & Lal, 1999) were used for data collection. A mixed bag of results was obtained in the present study.
