These days, college students are considerate about their career and colleges are also making good efforts at their level to make students ready for their future occupations. This research focused on two important factors: Big five factors of personality and CDMSE, which play important role in making students ready for their career life. The sample comprised 100 Humanities and 100 Engineering students of private colleges in Delhi NCR. This study examined the individual contribution of big five factors of personality in predicting CDMSE. Statistical analyses were done with SPSS and Linear Regression was applied. It was fpound that only two factors of personality, Openness and Conscientiousness significantly prediction the CDMSE.
