Self-harm is a kind of destructive behavior in which person harmsthemselves. Non-suicidal self-injury and suicidal ideation are major public health problems inadolescence. In theadolescence phase, adolescent begin to transition from childhood to adulthood. They suffer so much type of fear, stress, confusion and uncertainty. Tension, anxiety, aggression, depression are common problems appear in this stage. Present study investigated the Relations between Non-suicidal self-injury, Suicidal ideation and Self-efficacy among adolescents. Sample of 100 students (50 boys and 50 girls) from different places of Varanasi city with age range of 12 to 18 years were chosen for this study. Measures such as Inventory of Statement about self-injury (ISAS), Suicidal behavior Questionnaire-revised and General self-efficacy scale are used for data collection. Results of regression analyses revealed that Non-suicidal self-injury is being significantly predicted by the Suicidal ideation and self-efficacy. The findings are discussed with implications and in light of future perspective.
