The objective of this study was to measure the death anxiety among TB patients and compare them with normal control group of participants. A group of 30 purposively selected TB patients and 50 normal control persons in the age group of 30–50 participated in the present study. They were administered the Thakur Death Anxiety scale. It has 16 items and its reliability and validity have been reported to be high. The data obtained in the study were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics. Although the TB patients scored higher mean than the normal control group but the two groups of participants were found not to differ significantly in their level of death anxiety. The results are properly discussed and interpreted and limitations and suggestions are also mentioned.
