Oral carcinoma being the most prevalent cancer ranges amongst one of the ten most common causes of morbidity1. The emotional and physical suffering inflicted by neoplasms is even more agonizing than the mortality2. The most effective approach in reducing the mortality and morbidity is the early detection and knowledge of the recent advances in terms of therapeutics so as to deal with the wide range of various presentations of these silent lesions3. The objective of this article is to review the application of robotic surgery as a recent emerging therapeutic modality in combating oral cancer.
