Familial fibro-osseous lesions affecting multiple members in a family are quite uncommon. The case mentioned here is about an occurrence of similar type of lesion in a mother and her both siblings, aged thirty nine and forty years. The chief complain of the elder brother was the swelling in right upper side of cheek region since three years associated with the history of trauma in the same region three years back. Based on clinical, radiographic and histopathological features the diagnosis of ossifying fibroma was made. While the younger brother complained of swelling on both right and left sides of cheek region present since fifteen years with no relevant history of trauma. Correlating right and left maxillary lesion clinically, radiographically and histopathologically final diagnosis of florid cemento osseous dysplasia was made. The history of similar lesion in mother was reported by the two brothers who had expired few years back. The rationale for the case series mentioned here lies in the uncommon occurrence of fibro-osseous lesions, ossifying fibroma and florid cement osseous dysplasia, showing familial pattern in a same family thereby adding this unique case to the literature.
