Abstract

Eyes are the most precious gift given to us by the God as they help us to enjoy the beautiful world around us. Loss of the eyes can be detrimental to the patient both physically as well as mentally. Therefore, prosthodontic rehabilitation of such patients should be done as soon as possible with the ocular prosthesis. An ocular prosthesis, artificial eye or glass eye is a type of craniofacial prosthesis that replaces an absent natural eye following an enucleation, evisceration, or orbital exenteration. This article describes the simplified and innovative technique of prosthetic rehabilitation of a patient by customizing the stock eyes available in the market.
