Suicide as manner of death has seen a great upsurge in the modern world. We reviewed 384 cases of suicide in Gurugram region in 2017 to find out common methods and age groups in deaths due to suicides. This was a retrospective autopsy based study conducted at Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology of SGT University, Budhera, Gurugram from January 2017 to December 2017. In our study we found that hanging (53.12%) was most common method of suicide followed by poisoning (39.84%). Maximum suicides were seen during August and September 2017. Most common age affected age group was 15–29 years and males outnumbered females.
