Management of Open Apex Under Microscope: A Case Series

Abstract

Open apex is the non-closure of the apex of the root of the tooth. There are many etiologies behind open apex. Planning of the case and management is quite a challenge for the dentists. The case report presents two cases of management of teeth with open apex using different bioceramic materials such as Biodentine and MTA along with their follow up observing the changes in the periapical radiolucency.
