“Preservation of remaining teeth is more important than replacement of what is lost” as stated by M.M Devan is a proven and practical concept that enlightens the notion of preventive prosthodontics in the field of dentistry. Prosthodontic rehabilitation with a few remaining teeth has always been a challenge for a dentist. In such situations, tooth supported overdenture has proven to be effective in terms of proprioception preservation and reducing residual ridge resorption thus increasing the longevity of the prosthesis. Thus, this case report describes rehabilitation of a 58 year old patient with conventional overdenture with respect to upper arch and telescopic overdenture with respect to lower arch with the amenity of retention, stability, proprioception and ridge preservation, thus, adding psychological benefit to the patient.
