In determining the first impression of the individual, smile and facial esthetics play a key role in communication. A perfect smile comprises of a red and white balance which can be achieved by teeth, gingival scaffold and lip framework in the correct proportion. A condition which leads to sensitivity, poor esthetic and many more problems; this clinical condition is gingival recession. Rectification of recession defects is one of the primary goals in periodontal therapy, as a result of predictability and efficacy are the considerable for variety of techniques used by the clinicians. Periodontists carves smile by carrying out various mucogingival surgeries for managing mucogingival problems. The aim of the present study is to treat of miller’s class I gingival recession defect in esthetic region utilizing the orthodontic attachment in coronally advanced flap.
