Objective-This article provides a short clinical overview of the epidemiology, symptoms, routes of transmission and their application in treatment strategies related to this novel infection in paediatric dental patients. Data Source-Various guidelines and recommendations dealing with patient screening, infection control preventive and minimally invasive approach leading to the prevention of cross contamination and least generation of aerosols are here to modify dental practices. Conclusion- Dental care providers for children need to be aware and prepared for tackling any impending infectious disease challenge as might be the case in the current outbreak of SARS- CoV-2 transmission according to specific geographical location.
