Covid-19: An insight to periodontology

Dentistry is classified in the very high risk involved occupation including many complicated treatment procedures with generation of aerosol and risk of contamination to the entire person involved during procedure may it be dentist, attendant or patient himself. As this new pandemic known as COVID-19 emerged so fast throughout the world it is need of an hour to change the way of dentistry used to happen in past. Now it's time to protect all the healthcare workers involved in clinics by using all the well established guidelines. As Periodontology is one of the very important branch of dentistry, this article particularly provides an insight into Periodontology during this pandemic.
