A Unique Initiative to Nurture Brilliant Brains and Stimulate Research

Abstract

In this article, a brief introduction of a Unique Centre named Centre for Advanced Research in Applied Mathematics and Physics is presented. The Centre could not have seen the light of the day without support of Mr P.K. Gupta, Chancellor Sharda University, Prof. B.S. Panwar the then Vice Chancellor of Sharda Universityand Dr Nadeem Tarin a well-known Philanthropist. The aims and objectives of the centre are elaborated. There are many areas of mathematics which have scaped attention of mathematicians and its users. The centre will focus on those areas. In the last 6months, lectures have been organised by eminent scholars like Prof. K. R.Sreenivasan, Prof. Maithili Sharan, Prof. Mushahid Husain and Prof. Manchanda. The Centre is also publishing the proceeding of an international workshop held in first week of February 2018 under the auspices of the Centre by Taylor & Francis Group.
