Abstract

For the simulation of fluid dynamics, LBM has been considered a potent and adaptable computational technique. Lattice Boltzmann Methodology (LBM) represents fluid as discrete particles dispersed throughout a lattice, evolving through streaming and collision processes, in contrast to conventional numerical techniques that are based on Navier-Stokes equations. The work here provides a thorough analysis of the use of LBM in simulating incompressible fluid flows, emphasizing the benefits of this approach for managing boundary conditions. We investigate the D2Q9 model and use issue simulations to show how effective they are. The outcomes validate the precision and consistency of LBM in representing the flow and its capability to replicate an extensive array of fluid phenomena, ranging from basic flows to turbulent regimes.
