An axial dispersion model involving Peclet number has been solved using the technique of orthogonal collocation. Lagrangian interpolation polynomial has been used to discretize the approximating function. This technique converts the set of partial differential equations into ordinary differential equations. The resulting system of differential algebraic equations has been solved using MATLAB with ode15s system solver. Numerical values have been compared with analytic ones to check the efficiency of the method.
