Abstract

Computerised tomography is the process of determination of scalar quantities from integral information along lines. By now it is a vast interdisciplinary field having significant applications in medical and earth sciences. The work of Hounsfield and Cormak in this area fetched a Noble prize in 1979. The concept of vector field tomography was introduced by Norton in 1988 that deals with the determination of vector fields from integral information. In a series of papers the role of wavelet analysis has been examined. In this article interaction of vector field tomography and vector-valued wavelets is studied.
