This paper is concerned with the finite element approximation in the L∞-norm of elliptic quasi-variational inequalities (QVIs) arising in impulse control problems. We provide a unified analysis for both the coercive and noncoercive problems, and derive error estimates, combining a geometrical convergent iterative scheme of Bensousan-Lions type with standard error estimates in the maximum norm for elliptic variational inequalities (VIs).
