The present study explores the use of e-resources by University Library users in Iran and India. A survey questionnaire was designed for the purpose of data collection. The result of the study showed that there is a significant difference in the frequency of use of facilities (F= 21.73; P< 0.001) for accessing information. A significance difference is observed in the use of e-books; e-journals, search engines and online-databases (F= 43.56; P< 0.001). The authors also infer that there is a significant difference in the problems faced by the academia of Iran and India (F= 0.27; P< 0.005). The benefits of using e-resources also show a significant difference (F= 128.33; P< 0.001). A similar significant difference is identified with regards to the use of databases (F= 256.83; P< 0.001). Hence the inferences drawn from this study are not statistically same in the studies previously carried out and therefore the findings are new. The result reveals from the analysis of data that between Iran and Indian respondents a significant difference is observed in their use of e-resources (F= 1.06; P< 0.001).
