Information literacy is the ability to find, access, select, evaluate, and use information from various sources. In the era of the growing ocean of information being available in various formats, it becomes important for the person to have information literacy skills so that he/she can find the right kind of information which will fulfill their information needs. Today information literate people are those who have learned how to learn. The information literacy skills provide the users with the various techniques and methods to find and solve their information need in minimum time. The present study aims to compare the information and digital literacy skills among the PG students of the social sciences of Mizoram University and Tezpur University.
