A critical study on the book borrowing patterns among mba students at JNTU Library, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh

Abstract

This paper conducts a critical analysis of the books borrowed by MBA students of the enrolled batches of the academic year: 2017 & 2018 at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Library, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. The analysis throws light on the different aspects such as several books borrowed, authorship pattern of the borrowed books, a chronology of the borrowed books, country-wide distribution of borrowed books, type of publisher, rank list of the publishers, rank list of the mostfrequently borrowed titles. After analysis of each point, appropriate conclusions were drawn.
